Ready-to-eat sunflower kernels, pasteurized at source
Our ready-to-eat kernels are pasteurized at source with a combined UV and infrared treatment. Pasteurization is certified as a separate process in our BRCGS Food Safety audit (Issue 9, grade AA+).
The treatment lowers the microbial load, so the kernels can go straight into products that are not baked: granola toppings, bars, muesli and snack mixes.
